Other Info: An article published in the Hastings & St Leonards Observer on 28th September 1918 reads; “Private F Maylam (photo 5), Royal Sussex Regiment attached to the Welsh Regiment. Killed in action in France on May 16th 1918.

According to CWGC, Frederick died aged 22 and is remembered at Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt, grave reference I.F.25.
