    This is my great uncle Henry John Reeves killed on board the HMS Laurentic just off Northern Ireland when the boat was hit he was a engine stoker and it was the engine end that was hit so didn’t stand a chance, his body was never recovered, the other picture was of my Grandad Robert Reeves he survived ww1 he was a gunner, he supposedly saw “The Angel of Mons” he lived to be 88yrs old and spent all his working life on the trains in Polegate and Eastbourne a lovely man .
