Other Info: An article published in the Hastings & St Leonards Observer on 5th October 1918 reads; “Lance Corporal Ernest Victor Harborough, killed in France by shell fire on September 14th 1918. Age 21. Only son of Mr & Mrs R. Harborough of Guestling Thorn, Hastings.”

According to CWGC, Ernest is remembered at Roisel Communal Cemetery Extension, grave reference II.F.8.
