Wife: Mrs Bertha Guilford

Home Address: 40 Front Street, London, Ontario

Other Info: Samuel Guilford, died aged 26 on 14th January 1917. He is buried at Hastings Cemetery. The name inscribed on his grave is spelt ‘Guildford’, but I have used the spelling stated on his war records.

    I reported the incorreçt spelling of Pte Guilford’s surname to the CWGC at the end of 2021. The headstone was replaced (with correct spelling) in March 2022
