Emmanuels mother was Jane Boxall Hemmings Gasson . He was born in 1880. His father was james Henry Gasson. He had a 1/2 brother George Boxall born in 1866 and 1/2 sister Elizabeth Jane born 1868. George Boxall married Annie Weekes b 1870 ,d 1943 and I believe Emmanuel stayed with them and his mother in York Place Hastings. George Boxall is my great grandad.

Interesting to read about Manny Gasson. His half sister Elizabeth Jane Boxall Hemmings Griffin was my great grandmother. He was the postmaster in Hastings I believe at one time.
