Joseph Thomas Jenner was the son of Thomas Jenner and his first wife Caroline Wilkins. Caroline died in 1901, and Thomas married his 2nd wife Mary Annie Ellis in 1902. In 1911 Thomas Joseph aged 26 was already enlisted as he appears in the 1st Royal Sussex Regiment “India” institution/vessel.
