Other Info: Lost his life on HMS Aboukir when it was sunk, along with sister ships HMS Hogue and HMS Cressy, by German submarine U-9 on 22nd September 1914. He was one of 1,459 seamen lost in the incident. He is remembered on the Chatham Naval Memorial, on panel 2.
