Other Info: Wounded at the Battle of Aisne, died at his home in Hastings aged 26 on 27th October 1914. CWGC shows that Robert is remembered at Greenwich Cemetery on screen wall 1 ‘C’, B 1207.

    Robert died at the East Ham Isolation Hospital from typhoid/enteric fever, which is confirmed in his military records. He was an Old Boy of the Royal Hibernian Military School in Dublin.
