    Ernest Beney was my great uncle, and his brother in law, George Holder, was my grandfather. I have quite a lot of information about Holders, Beneys and Divalls and would be pleased to hear from anyone else connected to this family.

    Hi Rita. Ernest was the brother of my grandfather, Percy Beney. I have visited the Le Touret memorial in Northern France where Ernest is commemorated….sadly no grave. I think George Holder was married to their sister, Polly Beney. I think George is in two pictures that I have. Polly is in one picture. Happy to send you a scan.
