Other Info: Missing since 6th August 1916; now reported killed in action on that date. According to CWGC, Robert died aged 19 whilst in the 9th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. He is remembered at the Thiepval Memorial, panel reference Pier and Face 8C 9A and 16A.
