The bridesmaids were Miss Dorothy Craddock, Miss Phillis Wheeler and Miss Dorothy Baker. Mr Charles Brasier acted as Best Man. The bride was given away by her father. The Choir, of which the bride is a member, attended and gave a fully choral service, Mr E Pattenden being at the organ. At the close of the service he played Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March”. A reception was held at “South View”.”
