Other Info: Lost his life on HMS Hampshire which was sunk by a mine on 5th June 1916. Field Marshall Lord Kitchener and his staff on board and among 737 lost. According to CWGC. Lester is remembered at Lyness Royal Naval Cemetery, grave reference F.69. He is recorded as ‘Lister’ Stone Bennett.
