Other Info: Won a Hastings Grammar School Foundation Scholarship from Clive Vale School, passed the Civil Service Examination last June and has received an appointment in the office of the Metropolitan Police, New Scotland Yard, commencing his duties on 2nd December. He has been a member of the Battalion Band, 5th (Cinque Ports) Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment for the past 21/2 years. He has been of great assistance as a 1st clarinet player. All his friends are very pleased to hear of his success.
