Other Info: Died in action on 9th May 1915. According to CWGC, Frederick was aged 18 when he died. He is remembered at Le Touret Memorial, on panel 20 & 21.

*The newspaper write the surname as Brasier, but official records spell it Brazier.

Other Info: At the Front. The text in 24 Years Continuous Service reads: Each of these men has 24 years’ continuous service to his credit. The photograph was taken at the Front. Sergeant Green, the man standing on the left, has since come home. Sergeant Bennett … is seated on the left. The man with the dog is Corporal Green and the dog was taken out by the men in March 1915. Its identification disk is hanging around its neck, and is marked “01 Spot. Sussex Army Troops, Royal Engineers. It is well known to the troops at the Front, and has many rats to his credit. It always takes up its position at the head of working parties when allowed.
