Wauthier

Georges Wauthier

Rank: Corporal

Regiment: French Army

Brother: Andre Wauthier

Other Info: A Strange Coincidence reads “… They met in Hastings where they arrived on the same day, neither knowing the other was coming. They then found that, unknown to each other, both had been in action at Verdun, and both had obtained leave of absence at the same time. M. Georges Wauthier was on his first visit to England, but M. Andre Wauthier is will known in Hastings, being the proprietor of Semadeni’s confectionery business in Claremont. Both leave for France today.”
