Hi,
Harold Sidney was my Grand Uncle, his father was my Great Grand father Joseph Perigoe who was married to Mary Ann Harryman.
Harold's brother Herbert Perigoe was my grandfather who served in 2nd Batt KRRC a s corporal and was injured out (we believe) after Mons.
Strangely there is no reference of Harold Sydney being married on BMD
I have been to Grandcourt Road a few times it a lovely place in the middle of a field.

The Herbert you may have was he in the Royal Sussex? as My G Father Herbert was in the 2nd Batt KRRC.
Harold Sidney and Herbert Perigoe's first cousin was also named Herbert Perigoe, he is buried in Caberet Rouge, This Herbert died as POW info from German Red Cross death cert states died Germany, but this I believe could have meant died POW behind German Lines in France.

I looked through my records and found the second Herbert Perigoe who is related (1st cousin) to the brothers H.S. Perigoe and Herbert Perigoe.
This Herbert Perigoe is not on your list but is the Herbert on the Hastings memorial.

Headstone states believed to berried in this spot as graveyard shelled after burials.
as said the concept died prisoner of war may just have meant behind enemy lines,.
Caberet Rouge was later used as a concentration graveyard.
There is a nice man related to this man Donal Dale in Canada his email is didale@telus.net who may have more info.
