Other Info: At the Front. According to CWGC, William died aged 21 on 22nd January 1919. He is remembered at Haidar Pasha Memorial on screen wall panel 15 and is buried at Tiflis British Cemetery.

    William Tester was the brother of my grandmother, Alice Beney (nee Tester). My grandmother named her son, William who was born in 1923, 4 years after her brother died of malaria while serving in the army in Southern Russia.

    Thanks for publishing this Kieron. This is the first time I have seen a picture of my great uncle, William Tester.
