Hello Kathy, I am researching Harold Benjamin Robinson Rawlins, it is a very unusual name. I have come up with a different man bearing the very same name, and he was the son of Rose and she adopted my Mum many years ago. What can you tell me about your grandfather. I would love to hear from you. Regards Jan Williams

Hi Kathy, thank you for taking the time to comment. I’m afraid that the only information I have about Harold is shown here – I’m reliant on what was published in the newspaper. Kind Regards, Kieron.

Are you able to tell me by the uniform, what Harold B Rawlins would have served.

Hi Jan. I think this would be the Royal Horse Artillery uniform, looking at similar images on Google. With the braiding it is possibly dress uniform, but that’s only a guess. Regards, Kieron.
