Hi, this man is my Great Uncle, Walter Alfred Sellens. He was one of 12 Children of Henry Sellens and Harriett Bailey, He served in WW1 along with 2 of his brothers and his father. From what i have seen in his service record, Walter seems to have gone missing from the 9th Bn Royal West Surrey regiment, and enlisted again in the Royal Sussex Regiment, and was tried in a civilian court before being discharged. He then enlisted for a third time in the 14th Bn Gloucestershire Regiment from where he was eventually discharged in April 1918 due to no-longer being fit for service.
