I believe this to be my grandad, Charles Chester Avery. Born 1885. Knew there was some relationship with the Trench family from the Broadway in Ore? Knew he was cook in Royal Sussex. Married Florence Butchers. Lived 55 Percy Rd. Ore. Had 5 children. Thomas Frederick the youngest was my Father. Second eldest son Charles William was killed 2nd July 1944 and is buried at St Manvieu Cemetry near Caen Normandy.
