Other Info: At the Front. According to CWGC, Hazell died aged 19 on 11th March 1916. He is remembered at Le Treport Military Cemetery, grave reference Plot 2, Row J, Grave 7.

Top image text reads “… went to the Front on 1st May 1915 and was dangerously wounded on 2nd March 1916, and died on 11th March 1916. He was the son of Mrs Croft… who says the kind treatment she received from the Military Authorities greatly assisted her to bear her sad loss.”
