Address: 31 Victoria Dwellings, East Ascent, St Leonards (later Soans Cottage, Netherfield)

Other Info: Killed. Leaves a wife and one child. According to CWGC, Frederick died aged 27 on 8th May 1915. He is remembered at Samer Communal Cemetery, grave 3, east side of the crucifix.

    Frederick Joseph White was my great grandfather. His son Percy Frederick Stephen White is my grandfather and grew up never knowing his real father. His mother Elizabeth Kate White who was left widowed re-married a man called John Hutchinson. I recently found this photograph of Frederick and information of the location of his war grave. This information seemed to have been lost through our family over time so we are very happy to have found this
