This man was the son of James Samuel Wilkins, carter. As a postman, of 21 Caithness Road, West Kensingon (note, same address as his bride) he married, 11 May 1913, St Matthew’s, Hammersmith, Middlesex, Daisy Ellen Elizabeth, aged 23, daughter of Benjamin William Jolliffe, French polisher. Her family was at 9 Park Terrace, Kensington, in the 1891 census; she was born Kensington. In the 1911 census she was a servant to Sydney Edwin Smith, a general provision store manager, and his wife, at 189 High Street, Kensington.

At death Albert was a driver, T4/234780. He may be the same man who, born 17 October 1887, joined the Royal Marines 26 July 1903.

Both he and his wife were on the 1920 electoral roll for 258 Harold Road. His widow continued to be on the electoral roll for that address until 1929. Military pension records show that she was born 21 Oct 1889.

In 1929 the widow married Thomas W. Harris at Hastings. In the 1939 Register (for rationing purposes) she was still at 258 Harold Road, with her husband a gardener, born in 1876. Daisy had probably had children by her first husband as the Register shows Ruth E. Wilkins, born 1913, and Albert J. Wilkins, born 1919, motor driver. The FreeBMD database shows that Albert was born in Hastings with three possible children born earlier in Middlesex.

Both Daisy and her husband died in 1958 in Hastings.
