George Fellows

George James Fellows

Rank: Private

Regiment: 26th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers

Father: Mr Alfred Henry Fellows

 Address: Alexandra Road, St Leonards

Other Info: At the Front. Clerk in Hastings Borough Accountants Office. According to CWGC, George died aged 31 on 7th June 1917. He is remembered at the Ypres (Menin) Gate Memorial, panel 6 & 8.

*The ‘F’ seems to be a typo, as I can find only one George James Fellows that resided in Hastings and St Leonards during this time period and no George ‘F’s. I’ve search Ancestry.com and Lives of the First World War. If my guess is incorrect please let me know.
