Other Info: The text reads “… We take the following brief report from last Saturday’s Observer: “It is with much regret that we have to state that Captain H. Stuart Dennison, of Princess Patricia’s Imperial Canadian Light Infantry was killed on 8th May 1915. Captain Dennison joined the service on the 4th August 1914, and was on active service in Flanders in December 1914. He took part in the engagements at St Julie, Neuve Chapelle, St Eloi and The Mound. It was at the last mentioned that Captain Dennis was killed whilst heroically holding his trench. His brother, Lieutenant Ralph Edward McKie Dennison, who joined the Royal Sussex Regiment in August 1914, was killed on 9th May 1915, a day after his brother. It was during the engagement at Festubert that Lieutenant Dennison met his death on the enemy’s parapet while leading his men.”

According to CWGC, Harry is remembered at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial on Panel 10.
