Other Info: Returned to the front after three months in hospital with frostbite. According to CWGC, Albert, by then a Lance Corporal, died aged 25 on 8th October 1918. He is remembered at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gouy, grave reference IV.B.10.

An article published in the Hastings & St Leonards Observer on 30th November 1918 provided a second photograph and stated that Albert was killed in action.
