Other Info: The Military Medal has been won by another Battle boy, Corporal J H G Duke, of Mount Street, who has since been promoted to Sergeant…. After his commanding officer had been wounded, Duke dressed his injuries and took charge. He collected the men and led them on to such good purpose, that they won their objective, and mainly through his exertion and example.
