Other Info: He served 22 years and 249 days in the Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort’s Own), and went through the South African War. On the outbreak of the present War he volunteered for service again, and joined up on 11th August 1914, in the 5th Royal Sussex. He went to the Front on 18th February 1915 and was dangerously wounded on 17th October the same year. He is now on duty with the Regiment at home.

According to CWGC, Fredric died aged 50 on 4th April 1918 whilst serving with the 695th Agricultural Company, Labour Corps He is remembered at Whatlington (St Mary Magdalene) Churchyard, in the north part.
