Died on 24th July at Ferozepore, India. According to CWGC, Herbert is remembered at Ferozepore Military Cemetery, grave reference Plot C, Grave 120.

CWGC has Herbert’s first name down as ‘Hubert’

Other Info: Is reported as drowned in the Mediterranean. He was a well known cricketer, and played for Battle. According to CWGC, Thomas died on 15th April 1917 and is remembered at the Chatby Memorial, Egypt.
