Other Info: Pictured in the centre. He went to India on 29th October 1917. Later he was sent to Mesopotamia, where he was taken sick with enteric fever and sent back to India, and there had an attack of malaria fever. He has now recovered, and is stationed at Lahore. In letters home he speaks well of the kindness and care taken of them in the hospitals. He also mentions Lady Willingdon’s kindness to them all… Gunner Jones will be 20 on 26th May 1917.
