Some of the friends who attended the marriage of Private F. E. Vidler, R.A.M.C., and Miss Amy Bannister, at Hollington Church-in-the-Wood on 22nd December 1917. The bridegroom was a member of the British Red Cross, V.A.D. and joined the R.A.M.C. on 10th August 1914. He left home on the 12th August, and was on duty in France on the 24th of that month, serving through Mons, etc, fortunately without receiving any injury, for three years and six weeks. A fortnight after returning from leave he was wounded, but happily recovered. Attending the bride are her two sisters, Ivy and Elsie, and Private C. F. Glazier, 42nd Canadian Black Watch, acted as best man.
