Other Info: William was killed in action on the 22nd May 1918. He is remembered at Le Vertannoy British Cemetery, Hinges, grave reference B.25.

William also served with the 2nd Battalion in the Boar War and in Ireland. He was married out of Ebrington Barracks. The photograph shows William with his wife and daughter Adeline.
