Other Info: Ernest was on board HMS Queen Mary when it took part in the Battle of Heligoland. He went on to serve aboard HMS Fortune, and was among the 68 lost when it was sunk on 1st June 1916 during the Battle of Jutland. He is remembered at the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, on panel 14
