Other Info: An article published in the Hastings & St Leonards Observer on 30th November 1918 reads; “killed in action in France on October 29th, aged 18 years and nine months”

According to CWGC, William is remembered at Cross Roads Cemetery, Fontaine-au-Bois, grave reference III.D.19.

Additional information on the Lives of the First World War website states that William was born in Hollington and lived in Hastings.
