Other Info: An article published in the Hastings & St Leonards Observer on 29th June 1918 reads; “Reported missing on March 23rd 1918. On May 29th his parents received a card from him saying he was a prisoner of war and quite well.”

According to CWGC, William died aged 19 on 22nd May 1918. He is remembered at Chauny Communal Cemetery Extension, grave reference 1.L.2.

According to CWGC, James died on 7th July 1918. He is remembered at Chauny Communal Cemetery, British Extension, grave reference 4.B.37.
