Additional Information: An article published in the Hastings & St Leonards Observer on 19th October 1918 reads; “Private Alfred C Quaife, Royal Sussex, killed in action on September 18th.

According to CWGC, Alfred is remembered at Brie British Cemetery, grave reference II.A.5.
