Other Info: At St Mary’s Church, Salehurst on October 15th, Driver J Daniels, son of Mr & Mrs F Daniels of Salehurst near Robertsbridge married Miss Winifred M Allen, only daughter of the late Jesse Allen and Mrs Allen of St Leonards on Sea. The bridegroom came home on ten days leave from the front, where he has been serving his country twenty one months, after five years service in England. He joined up on the outbreak of war.
