Other Info: Grandson of the late Captain J V Nugent, formerly of Calcutta. According to CWGC, Raymond died aged 20 on 23rd November 1917. He was a Second Lieutenant with ‘D’ Battery, 70th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery at the time. Raymond is remembered at Gouzeaucourt New British Cemetery, grave reference VII.D.15.

Other Info: Text reads: … He has just been gazetted First Lieutenant, dating from June 2nd (1915). Lieutenant Willis went to France in July, and has been organising and training bombing parties for the Battalion and commands a company of picked me for that purpose.

According to CWGC, Edgar died aged 25  on 13th July 1916 and is remembered at Peronne Road Cemetery, Maricourt, grave reference I.G.23. Additional name information from the Lives of the First World War website.
