Other Info: Killed. Leaves a wife and one child. According to CWGC, Frederick died aged 27 on 8th May 1915. He is remembered at Samer Communal Cemetery, grave 3, east side of the crucifix.

Other Info: Prisoner of War. Eight trawlers from Boston, Lincolnshire were sunk by a German flotilla led by light cruisers Rostock and Strassburg on 21st August 1914. The fishing crew were all taken prisoner before the boats were sunk. More information can be viewed here.
