Other Info: Has received the Distinguished Service Medal. According to CWGC Herbert died aged 30 on 17th June 1917 when HMS Tartar struck mine. He was among 43 killed. Herbert is remembered at Portsmouth Naval Memorial on panel 24.

Other Info: Lost on HMS Ramsey. According to CWGC, John died aged 21 on 8th August 1915 when the ship was sunk with the loss of 55 men by German minesweeper Meteor. He is remembered at Portsmouth Naval Memorial on panel 10.

Other Info: Killed at sea, his ship having struck a mine. According to CWGC, Jabez died on 16th April 1916. He was one of 7 sailors killed in the incident and is remembered at the Chatham Naval Memorial on Panel 17. Jabez was born in Offam, West Malling, Kent, more info here.
