In the preliminary training they found the work they had done in the C.L.B. of the utmost value. According to CWGC, Joseph died aged 19 on 28th March 1915. He is remembered at Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, grave reference XXVIII.B.29. Additional name information from the Lives of the First World War Website.
