Other Info: Died of wounds which he received on 3rd July 1916. Mr Fisher … was educated at the Merchant Tailors’ School, London. He enlisted as a Private with the 5th Royal Sussex Regiment in November 1914, tranferred to the Inns of Court O.T.C., and obtained a commission in the Royal Sussex Regiment then transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. Second Lieutenant Fisher went to the Front in May 1916.
According to CWGC, Percy died aged 23 on 4th July 1916. He is remembered at Couin British Cemetery, grave reference I.D.5.
