Arthur Cecil Ticehurst

Arthur Cecil Ticehurst

Rank: Major

Regiment: Royal Engineers

Address: Battle

Other Info: Text reads; “…whose name appeared in the list of New Year military honours, he having been awarded the Military Cross. It is a thoroughly merited recognition of hard and continuous work at the Front, where the Major has been in command of a local Company of Engineers for the past two years. Early in the War he raised the Company in Hastings and Bexhill, and proceeded to France towards the end of 1914.
