Other Info: Probably the tallest man gone into Kitchener’s Army from Hastings. He stands 6ft, 6ins. He is well known in the town, having been goalkeeper in the Junior Champion team in the Sussex Water Polo competition, captain on of the YMCA Swimming Club, and instructor of the Royal Life Saving Society (Hastings Swimming Club Branch).
