Other Info: Killed in action on 26th March 1917. Service number 13349. His number indicates that he was possibly part of the Machine Gun Corps. Killed at Tortue, Salonika, Greece.

According to CWGC, Ernest died aged 24 and is remembered at Doiran Military Cemetery, grave reference VI.E.26.
