Other Info: The son of one time Liberal candidates at Hastings. But for the war, Lieutenant Tweedie-Smith would have joined his father in practice as a solicitor last June. Killed in action in France on 13th October 1915. According to CWGC, Alan is remembered at the Loos Memorial on panel 13 to 15. Name spelling taken from the CWGC website.
