This is my 2nd great-uncle Victor John “Montague” Lowe, born December 1898 in Hastings, Sussex to Edward Lowe of Odcombe and Elizabeth Haines of Freshwater IOW. Victor is the youngest of 8 children. I understand that he later joined the Hastings Borough Police Force on 21/01/1919.
