Hi Lisa. I’m unable to say what the connection Miss Davis had to Albert Crouch, but often photographs were sent to the paper by friends and neighbours rather than the family itself. Kind Regards, Kieron.

Hi I’m Albert Crouch’s grandson and I have his birth certificate and he didn’t have a middle name the picture is right as his daughter is still alive she also confirmed that he didn’t have a middle name so we don’t where the E came from someone must have him mixed up with someone else.
    Regards Brian Crouch

Hi Brian, thank you for this, I will amend the details on here. Do you think the group photograph shows your grandfather? It could be another man – but then again there were plenty of typos in the newspaper as well. Kind Regards, Kieron
