Other Info: A Military Wedding reads “On June 5th 1916, at St Paul’s Church, St Leonards, the marriage was solemnised between Corporal Albert Tester … and Miss Muriel Parks. The bridegroom having been at the Front for ten months was home on leave. He returned to duty a week later. … Corporal Tester, before the war, was a motorman in the employ of the Hastings and St Leonards Tramway Company.”

Wounded. Now lying in hospital in France.

    My grandfather ( christened Bertie not Albert) was still living in the Hollington area when he died in 1971. He became a bus driver after the war. He had 2 daughters with his wife, Muriel.
