John George COEN was my Grand-father on my maternal side of the family. He married Violet Evelyn Louisa KNELL – she d.1935, he d.1943 ( both before I was born ) – both buried at Hastings. He was actually living for a while at 17 Earl Street and, as he married 1910, I am assuming that the Mrs KNELL mentioned was her Mother ? and possibly the other KNELLs shown were family / relatives. I have only recently looked into their Tree side, so not much info yet. I do know that some of the KNELLs originated from Canterbury Kent. Hope this may be of some help to somebody. P.S. his photo is one I had not previously seen, so that is a bonus.
